Critical Path ATX

Terms of Service

Last updated October 13, 2026

1. The service

Critical Path ATX is operated by Critical Path ATX ("we"). It helps you track City of Austin development approvals by reading public City of Austin open data and the information you enter. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms.

2. A tracking aid, not a guarantee

City data can be late, incomplete or wrong, and City rules change. Dates, deadlines, review times and alerts in Critical Path ATX are estimates for convenience. You remain responsible for confirming every status, deadline and requirement with the City of Austin, including in Austin Build + Connect, and for meeting them. We are not affiliated with the City of Austin, and we do not file applications, give legal advice or provide engineering services through Critical Path ATX.

3. Accounts

You need a valid email address to sign in. Keep access to that inbox secure; anyone with it can sign in. You are responsible for activity in your workspace, including team members you invite.

4. Plans, trials and billing

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through our payment processor and renew until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from Settings; access continues to the end of the paid period. New workspaces may start with a free trial; when it ends the workspace moves to the Free plan unless you choose a paid plan. Fees are non-refundable except where the law requires. We may change prices with at least 30 days notice by email.

5. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service: no scraping, reselling, overloading or attempting to access other workspaces, and no use that violates law or the City of Austin's data terms. We may suspend accounts that do.

6. Your content

You own the projects, notes and milestones you enter. You give us permission to store and process them to run the service. Client status pages are visible to anyone with the link until you revoke it.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, including accuracy, timeliness, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, delays, expired permits, fees or penalties. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.

9. Changes and termination

We may update these terms; we will post the new date here and email account owners about material changes. You may stop using the service at any time. We may end the service with reasonable notice.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Disputes will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas.
